How to make biscuit cocktail toppers - Biscuiteers

At Biscuiteers HQ we are all ready for the Bank Holiday Weekend and have our fingers crossed for lots of sun! If you’re hosting celebrations over the weekend, wow your guests with our biscuit toppers – the perfect addition to a bank holiday cocktail in the sun. They're also perfect for ice cream toppers on a hot day! We’ve chosen to ice tropical fruits to channel some holiday vibes.

To kick things off, choose a cocktail to mix. Our sister company, Lettice Party Design and Catering have recommended their favourite Summer tipples including a fruity thyme cocktail, an Aperol Spritz with a twist and a green smoothie inspired cocktail with a fiery kick! Click here for recipes.

To make the dough for your fruit biscuit cocktail toppers, follow our trusty vanilla biscuit recipe here.

When cutting your biscuits, remember to cut out a whole in the centre of the shape for the straw. Use something slightly bigger than a straw like a pen lid.
Once your biscuits are out of the oven and completely cooled, you can start icing! Choose from one of the many designs on our blog here. Once your fruit biscuits are all iced and completely dry and your cocktail recipe is mixed up and ready to go, it’s time to assemble your cocktail bottles with your straws and edible biscuit toppers.
Perfect for bank holiday parties, barbecues and birthdays we guarantee these biscuit toppers will bring the fun to your long weekend. After all, no cocktail is complete without a decorative final flourish, and what’s better than an edible one?
