Hand-iced by artists in London
Founded all the way back in 2007, becoming Britain's best hand-iced biscuit company has been quite the journey, but even after 18 years, each one of the 3 million biscuits we make each year is still baked and iced with the exact same principles in mind.
Each of our biscuits are delicately hand iced by our artisan icers here at the Ministry of Biscuits in London. It takes 600 hours of training to learn to ice a biscuit in classic Biscuiteers style, with true precision and care, to ensure each and every biscuit is perfect for our customers. Our icing artists are the heart of the business, and without their skill and artistry, Biscuiteers would not have reached where it is today.
Bespoke biscuit works of art
Some of our most intricate work is hand finished at our icing studio, where it takes over a year of training to enter our elite team.
Our clever biscuit designers can recreate any logo or produce a theme completely unique to your brand. We take pride in being able to provide a unique, hand-made branded gift that will leave a lasting impression whether it’s with employees, clients or as part of a promotional campaign as a gift for influencers.
We've worked on showstopping hand-iced biscuits for the likes of Dior, Disney, Coca Cola as well as collaborating on bespoke collections with Lulu Guiness and Manolo Blahnik.
Manolo Blahnik
When Manolo Blahnik announced he was sponsoring the UK's first major Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A we were thrilled to collaborate on this impeccably detailed and unapologetically opulent hand-iced biscuit tin. This is the perfect pairing of food and fashion, and to make it even more special, the biscuit tin was illustrated by Manolo himself.
Lulu Guinness
This September, we've partnered with Lulu Guiness to celebrate the skill and care that goes into creating and designing beautiful things. Celebrating artistry at it's finest, the result is a hand-iced biscuit tin featuring 8 iconic Lulu handbags, alongside a limited edition afternoon tea available in our Notting Hill icing cafe.
Dior x Harrods
When Dior announced they were taking over Harrods to launch The Fabulous World of Dior, we jumped at the chance to create a bespoke collection. Running with the theme of gingerbread we designed a collection inspired by the fashion house’s iconic pieces. We iced nearly 20,000 biscuits, packaged in a co-branded illustrated tin which were served in Café Dior and available to purchase in store.
Meet our artists
Violeta - Studio icer
My favourite part of the job is icing special collections and private orders. It's like befriending the customers. I also feel glad when I lead classes and I see the happiness and smiles of the customers in front of me. This is a unique experience! Their joy when we create something beautiful together brings me fulfilment and delight, which I am sure we share with the team.
Lucy - New product development manager
I oversee all the design work for online collections and corporate and wholesale orders. My favourite part of my job is seeing the design come to life in the icing hall - especially when they become Customer favourites. I've worked at Biscuiteers for 11 years now and my favourite product has to be the Safari tin, I like all of the different techniques that are used to create the animals.
Ben - Seasonal icer
As a seasonal icer, I was hired along with others to help during and in the lead up to the Christmas period. For my role as an icer, I decorate freshly baked biscuits by either outlining the shape, filling in that shape with icing flood or icing the details once they've dried. My favourite collection is the London collection - London's my home and I've seen these landmarks all my life, the Gherkin, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, etc. So putting them into biscuits just reminds me of that.
Christmas shop windows
Over the years we've lovingly created window displays ranging from winter wonderlands to London skylines, so we've put together a list of some of our highlights.
Raj - Icer
I've worked as an Icer at Biscuiteers for 4 years now meaning I've iced biscuits for Customers all year round. I like detailing in the biscuits and flooding the more difficult ones. They are challenging and satisfying, I enjoy the attention to detail. For this reason I like the pencils in the back to school collection as well as the Jolly gingers.
Agnese - Senior shop and event icer
In my 6 years at Biscuiteers I have lead classes and events, created bespoke biscuits and cakes and created amazing displays for the front of our shop windows. My favourite designs are always the bespoke ones as they allow me to be really creative.
Eva - Studio icer
I work in the studio team where we focus on corporate orders, personalised biscuits and hand-iced chocolates. Most of these orders are completely new, sometimes we only get a photo and we have to come up with the design, making the task more exciting.
Advent calendar collaborations
There's nothing more our team love than a bespoke advent calendar and this years Biscuiteers x Sophie Allport Limited Edition Advent collection is no different.
