Our favourite Christmas shop windows over the years - Biscuiteers

With a good helping of icing, and biscuits (of course!), you have all you need to create a bit of Christmas magic. Over the years we've lovingly created window displays ranging from winter wonderlands to London skylines, so we've put together a list of some of our highlights.

2013 : Selfridges 'Lost London' Window

In 2013, we worked with Bompas and Parr and Lyle's Golden Syrup to create the Selfridges Christmas window.

The display featured a fantasy scene of sugary delights made up of now demolished London buildings, such as Euston Arch, Old London Bridge, Newgate Gaol and City of London Lying-In Hospital. We also included never-built architecture, such as Selfridges’ Tower, the Glass Tower Bridge and a National Gallery Extension. The window saw the ghosts of London buildings past coming together in gingerbread style for Christmas.

2016: All aboard the Biscuiteers express

In 2016 the real star of the show was our biscuit train display at Notting Hill. We created a Christmas train running through the Swiss Alps on its way to deliver pressies to all the lucky boys and girls.
In Northcote road's display we recreated little Christmas scenes including a night at the nutcracker Christmas ballet, and a frosty forest of snowy trees.
2017: Biscuiteers Cosy Christmas window

In 2017, we lit up the biscuit fires at our cafes and created a cosy hygge inspired window featuring a jolly ginger home complete with presents and miniature Christmas treats.
2019: Covent Garden gingerbread house

We know it's not technically a window, but we hope you'll forgive us for adding this to the list! Last year we recreated Covent Garden Market in gingerbread form, showcasing the project for two months in the heart of Covent Garden Market itself. This grand design was a true feat taking 100 hours to construct and ice, using 5kg of icing and weighing in at 10kg.
2020: This year's display!

2020 may not have turned out as we expected, but we're so happy to be able to showcase our Christmas windows this year featuring snow scenes and a biscuit winter market. Whether you're passing by or popping in to pick up some Christmas treats, we hope we'll see you in store soon to have a look at this year's display.
