Are you planning a special party for the opening of the Olympics in Rio this year? Why not make these Olympic biscuits which have been iced and finished with special metallic paint. We think it'd be so fun to give them out as party favours!
Time to start baking:
1. We used our easy vanilla dough recipe to make our biscuits, and used basic circle cutters to get the medal shape. Don't forget to make a generous sized hole so you can thread your ribbon through later.
2. For your royal and line icing, use our simple guide to biscuit icing. You will need light grey and ivory for the flood and light grey, white and ivory for the line. We use professional paste colours when mixing both the flood and line icing.
5. Set your oven at the lowest temperature, we recommend around 50°C-70°C and put then pop the biscuits into the oven for 30-40 mins minutes to dry.
