We love a challenge here at Biscuiteers HQ, from making a giant gingerbread Selfridges, to shipping a life-size Charlotte Olympia Wendy house to Paris! We love when an exciting project comes our way, so the sheer scale of this Hugo Boss commission will definitely be going down in our Biscuiteers history book.
To mark the launch of Hugo Boss’ latest perfume, Boss Jour pour Femme, we were commissioned to make a whopping 6,000 biscuits in the design of its iconic porcelain bottle.
It took our talented icers 463 hours (around 7 days) to cut 120kg of dough, mix 72 kg of icing, bake and ice the special biscuits whilst we had a team packing the finished biscuits in glossy bags and crowning them with their very own satin ribbon and a perfumed tag. We hear that the biscuits were attached to a huge flower bouquets and shipped off to 300 stores around the UK.
