Icing lessons with American Express

Earlier this month our friends at American Express invited us to their London and Brighton offices, to treat their concierge team to a Biscuiteers icing lesson. Amex were celebrating the re-launch of their Centurion card, and what better way to celebrate than with biscuits!

We baked and part-iced biscuits to represent the great benefits that come with being a centurion card holder, so the Amex concierge team spent the day learning how to ice aeroplanes, champagne bottles and tickets.

Our lovely icers, Lizzie, Simon, Zailia and Hannah travelled to the Amex offices with hundreds of part-iced biscuits and even more piping bags full of icing. We printed images of what the biscuits should look like, but as the day went on the Amex team took creativity into their own hands and really went for it, which was fantastic! A brilliant day was had by all.

At the end of the day the Biscuiteers team selected 2 of their favourite biscuits and presented the lucky winners with a copy of the Biscuiteers Book of Iced Biscuits so they could carry on honing their icing skills at home!
