1) Cut the top of your piping bag off. Make sure the cut is very small to ensure you have a fine line, you can always cut more if it's too thin, so start small. If you don't feel comfortable with just using a ping bag use a fine piping nozzle (we recommend the No.1)
2) Position the tip of your icing bag as near to the biscuit as possible. Be careful not to drag your bag through the other icing on the biscuit. Only apply pressure on the bag when the nib is touching the biscuit.
3) If you have a lot of writing to add on the biscuit start from the middle, this will be helpful when thinking about spacing.
