For our very first venture into the wonderful world of television, we brought to life our best selling Nutcracker collection for an extra special Christmas advert. Inspired by our famous icing videos and stop motions we share on Instagram, we created a biscuit ballet production like no other. Starring the Nutcracker and the Sugar Plum Fairy (all hand iced) all on stage, putting on their best performance yet.
With the help of Mother Studio’s who produced the animation, the advert is a real showcase of the creativity and talent of our in-house team…if we do say so ourselves.
Our head icer Lucy produced the biscuits and even makes a debut on screen herself, when she perfectly ices the Nutcracker biscuits. Our Product Development Manager Lettie masterfully designed and built the theatre set using our tin illustrations. And our in-house Creative Content Producer Shabira storyboarded and directed the advert!
