There's a lot to get excited about as founding members of Buy Women Built. As an active member of the network, Harriet and Biscuiteers work closely with other organisations to identify opportunities, set up events and offer peer-to-peer advice, that furthers the Buy Women Built cause.
A project currently underway amongst member brands is the launch of a kitemark that can be added to the products and platforms of female-founded firms, including across the Biscuiteers website.
Inspired in-part by the stark statistic that 81% of 11-18 year olds are unable to name one female entrepreneur, the goal of the kitemark is to make it clear to consumers which products on the shelves and online are women built, boosting brands and inspiring future entrepreneurs.
