Seasonal Packing Assistants

Meet Aline – a Production Team Member here at Biscuiteers.

Aline’s day-to-day role includes carefully packaging our biscuits, cakes and chocolates, ready for them to be sent to customers. Aline works efficiently to ensure that deliveries are packed quickly but safely to minimise breakages and to ensure that our gifts reach the lucky recipient on time and perfectly presented. Aline works with our dispatch team, who take all the packaged biscuits for dispatch and co-ordinate the thousands of orders that go out daily over the festive season.

We are now looking for a Seasonal Production Team Member to join our busy team for the festive season in Wimbledon from September 2020.

Seasonal Production Team Member

Your day-to-day role includes packaging our biscuits, cakes and chocolates for customers, ready for them to be dispatched. You would ensure that deliveries are packed quickly but safely to minimise breakages and to ensure that our gifts reach the recipient on time and perfectly packaged. You would then prepare the packages for dispatch and, using strong organisational skills, manage and co-ordinate thousands of orders which go out daily over the festive season.

We are now looking for Seasonal Production Team Members to join our busy team in Wimbledon as soon as possible until the end of the year. Successful applicants will be able to work flexibly and include some weekends.

Working as part of a team and following strict health & safety and social-distancing measures, you will:

· Prepare packaging and pack Biscuiteers’ high-quality handmade biscuits according to the Biscuiteers standard.

· Ensure all orders are picked, packaged and labelled correctly, ready for dispatch on the right day

· Support any seasonal staff who join the team

· Identify and implement improvements to contribute to the dispatch process’s efficiency

· Performing duties according to Biscuiteers packing procedures

· Complying with Health & Safety regulations

You will need:

· The ability to work well under pressure and use initiative

· Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

· A can-do attitude and able to perform physical duties

· Strong organisational skills

· The ability to communicate effectively with all team members

· To be punctual and reliable

· Previous experience of dealing with postal orders would be ideal, however not essential

· A love of biscuits is a must!

Our salaries start from £9.80p/h including holiday pay. There is also a pension scheme which you’ll be able to join on completion of training plus a generous staff discount! There is also the opportunity for temporary roles to be made permanent in January 2021 depending on vacancies.
