In addition to our online store we have two exclusive icing cafes in Notting Hill and Northcote Road where we offer afternoon teas and a selection of beautiful patisserie cakes, scones and macarons.
We are now looking for a part-time Seasonal Assistant Pastry Chef to join our small, dedicated team in Wimbledon to help produce our patisserie selection. The successful candidate will be able to work 2-3 days per week.
Reporting to our Patisserie Chef and following strict health & safety and social-distancing measures, you will:
• Create beautiful cakes!
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards.
· Be able to cover for the Patisserie Chef when required.
· Support other areas of the bakery as required.
· Gain experience in bakery production, H&S and food safety
· Develop lots of other great skills such as team-working and time management
· Experience of working in a professional bakery, preferably with a luxury premium product.
· A positive proactive approach.
· To be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Qualifications in Health & Safety and Food Safety would be an advantage.
· To be able to work quickly and methodically, with close attention to detail
· To enjoy creating a beautiful product
· A love of biscuits is a must!
Our salaries start from £8.75p/h plus £1.06 p/h holiday pay. And there is also a generous staff discount!
