It’s Wedding Season at Biscuiteers!
Summer is finally here (even though the weather may say something different) and the wedding season is blooming! Here at Biscuiteers HQ we love weddings, and so were thrilled when a couple commissioned us to create a bespoke wedding cake for a beautiful floral-themed wedding in Wales.
Having seen the wedding cake in The Biscuiteers Book of Iced Biscuits, the bride asked us to create a 4 tiered version which would reflect her weddings spring/summer floral styling. Our production team got to work designing a bespoke cake covered in hand iced sugar daisies, grass, flowers and butterflies.

A four-tiered Victoria sponge cake with yummy vanilla butter cream was covered in a lovely summer green fondant and then iced with hundreds of daisies, tulips and butterflies in the Biscuiteers kitchen. This stage took 2 whole days! Once most of details were in place the cake was carefully wrapped up and transported from Biscuiteers HQ in south London all the way to west Wales.
On a sunny morning our wedding team set off at the crack of dawn and reached the wedding venue many hours later. With two pairs of steady hands, many piping bags and a car boot full of colourful icing they constructed the cake, hand-icing the final details.

The bride and groom toppers added were hand made by the bride herself!
