2019: Some of our best bits - Biscuiteers

What an amazing year 2019 was! From creating the iconic Covent Market in gingerbread form, to moving to our new HQ, the ministry of Biscuits. Here's a few of our favourite moments...

Creating exclusive Martin Parr biscuits for the National Portrait Gallery exhibition
We launched an exciting and exclusive collection of biscuits at the National Portrait Gallery for the Martin Parr: Only Human exhibition. The exhibition brought together works by one of Britain’s best-known and most widely celebrated photographers, Martin Parr. Including recognisable photographs alongside works never before exhibited it focused on one of his most engaging subjects – people.
A Royal Arrival
To celebrate the arrival of Meghan and Harry's first baby, we created a royal baby biscuit tin to commemorate the occasion. Inside the tin was everything a royal baby could ever need in regal gold and white.
Pat McGrath at Selfridges
In April, Selfridges invited us to create exclusive biscuits to be sold in their Technicolour Odyssey edit, celebrating the homecoming of Pat McGrath. Our biscuit designs included Pat McGrath's hallmark in gold and picture perfect pouts.
Little Mix at Biscuiteers!
Back in June, we had a very exciting launch in our Northcote road icing boutique in Balham. Sony Music hired out the space to launch Little Mix's new single, Bounce Back. During the event, the new single was played whilst Little Mix and a group of influencers iced bespoke designs (a palm tree, beach ball and jolly ginger) based on Bounce Back's music video.
Tregothnan for Biscuiteers Tea Collection
In early Summer, we added six new blends to our Tregothnan for Biscuiteers tea collection: Afternoon Tea, Christmas, Green Tea, Earl Grey, Chamomile and Peppermint. Because what better combination is there than tea and biscuits?
We moved!
At the end of August we moved into the ‘Ministry of Biscuits’, a purpose-built production and office space bringing our five London facilities under one new roof in Wimbledon, London. To celebrate we had a party to mark the opening of the Grand Icing Hall.
Bake off biscuits
To announce the return of Great British Bake off, Channel 4 commissioned us to create eye-catching biscuits, to be used in their advertising and editorials. The biscuits included some iconic GBBO designs, such as the Bake off tent and famous Paul Hollywood hand-shake.
We launched Pressie Points!
This year saw the launch of our new rewards scheme, Pressie Points! Our new scheme rewards any customer with an account to earn £1 for every £10 spent.
Biscuiteers Subscriptions
In Autumn we launched an exciting new way to gift Biscuiteers - subscriptions! For 3, 6, or 12 months we can send out Biscuit Tins, letterbox biscuits or jolly gingers to a lucky recipient.
We recreated Covent Garden Market in Gingerbread
In November, we unveiled our newest grand design - Covent Garden Market recreated in gingerbread form! Decorated entirely by hand by our icers Lorena and Serena, this big build took 100 hours to construct and ice, and used 5kg of icing, weighing in at over 10kg. The grand design was on show in Covent Garden throughout November and December, alongside our own Biscuiteers stall selling limited edition Covent Garden products.
Another brilliant year with GOSH
In 2019, we were incredibly proud to hit the milestone of over £70,000 raised for GOSH over 10 years. You can find our lovely GOSH collection here...
The best ever Christmas at Biscuiteers
This year was our busiest and biggest Christmas yet. Our Christmas collection had some exciting new products, including a limited edition advent calendar in collaboration with Sophie Conran.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our 2019 biscuit journey! We're ready for 2020, and excited to see what it has in store for Biscuiteers. Celebrating the arrival of 2020? Check out our new year letterbox biscuits...
