Easter Craft Ideas for Adults

Here at the Ministry of Biscuits, we love getting a bit crafty, so we’re sharing some of our Easter craft ideas to help you bust any half term boredom, whilst also creating some cracking spring centrepieces. These Easter crafts for adults will add egg-stra special touch to your Easter festivities.
Let's get started...
1. Make a decorative Easter wreath
Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas you know. Brighten up your front door this spring with your very own creation that’ll have all your neighbours green with envy.
How to make your Easter wreath
1. First up, choose the papers you’re going to use. You want a nice selection so there’s contrast and your wreath is even more eye catching.
2. You’ll need a square sheet to start off with. Fold this in half.
3. Next, mark out a diagonal line and cut along it, so you make a triangle;
4. Open the triangle out, and begin your accordion folds, starting with a 1cm fold up from the base edge of the triangle;
5. Flip the triangle over and fold another 1cm up. Continue this accordion folding until you get just short of the top point;
6. Fold this in half lengthways, and fan out slightly so it takes the shape of a leaf. Leave a bit of the point poking out at the bottom - you’ll need this to attach to the frame later;

7. Using your glue or glue dots, stick the top two sides of your leaf together;
8. Continue this process until you have a good variety of leaves, in different papers and sizes;
9. Arrange your leaves along your frame, so you know where you’re going to attach them. Then stick some glue or a glue dot on that pointy edge and wrap it round the frame to secure. Continue until you’ve put all your leaves on your frame;
10. Attach a ribbon to the top of the frame and voila! You’re ready to hang your Easter wreath :-)
2. Create an Easter Tree with a Biscuiteers Twist
For an Easter centrepiece fit for the Easter Bunny’s dinner party, why not try your hand at icing decorations for your Easter tree? The Easter Tree originally stems from a tradition in Germany and Austria, where they celebrate Easter by hanging hollow eggs from the branches of trees. 3. Get crafty with your Biscuiteers Tin
When the sun is shining (we know, it doesn’t happen often) why not get outside and start your Spring garden? Get the kids involved with this easy Easter craft activity.

One of the loveliest things about our biscuit collections is being able to keep the hand-illustrated gift tin once the biscuits have been eaten. Here’s our easy guide for how to plant succulents in your Biscuiteers gift tin. Alan the gardener jolly would approve.
You'll need:
- 1 Biscuiteers gift tin

- A selection of succulents, available from florists and garden centres

- A hammer and nail

- Cacti and succulent potting soil

- Pebbles or stones

- A small gardening trowel or spoon
Step by step guide:
1. First things first, eat the biscuits!

2. Prepare your gift tin by removing any biscuit crumbs and giving the inside a good wipe, and drying it.
3. Next create a base for the potting soil by filling the tin with your pebbles or rocks. Aim for ¼ of the tin’s depth. This also provides further drainage for the succulents.

5. Then comes the soil, spoon this over the rocks until the tin is ½ or ¾ full.
6. Using your finger make a small hole in the soil and then one by one remove each succulent from its packaging and place them into the holes. After you’ve positioned each succulent carefully pack the soil around it by pressing down with your fingers.
7. To finish your arrangement off, spoon in an additional layer of soil followed by a layer of stones.
Top tip:

Place the lid beneath our tin to catch any water which might drain out
