Prep your spring party table with some showstopping Easter centrepieces and spring table setting ideas that have been tried and tested at the Ministry of Biscuits, London! Discover how to make your own Easter Tree with a twist, perfectly festive Easter place settings and much more! 1. An Easter Tree Centrepiece

The Easter tree originates from traditions in Germany and Austria where families decorate and hang hollow eggs from the branches of trees, as part of the Easter festivities.

Using our DIY Easter Tree Kit, we’ve added a Biscuiteers twist to this tradition to create a delicious spring centrepiece.

To create your Easter Tree you first need to ice your biscuits, watch as one of our expert icers shows you how….
Once you’ve iced your beautiful biscuits it’s time to assemble! For this you’ll need a tall vase, some sturdy stems, ribbon (included in our Easter DIY Kit) and of course your biscuits.

How to make an Easter tree

Step 1: Ta Da! Reveal your delicately decorated eggs.
Step 2: Position your vase where you’d like this showstopper to stand.
Step 3: Start placing your stems evenly around the outer of the vase.
Step 4: Thread the ribbon through each of your biscuits.
Top Tip

Use a criss-cross method when placing in your stems, this helps hold the arrangement in place.

Step 5: Loop your ribbon onto the stems and hang them in your desired arrangement.
Step 6: Admire your showstopper…then eat it.

2. Bunny Ear Napkin Place Settings

Now that you’ve got your centrepiece, it's time for some festive flourishes. Our Easter party table isn’t complete without a bunny ear napkin fold to adorn each place setting.

How to fold Easter bunny ear napkins

Step 1: Using a square napkin, fold in half from corner to corner creating a triangle shape.
Step 2: From the top corner furthest away from you, roll your napkin toward you creating a tube shape.
Step 3: Then loosely fold the napkin in half, making sure the ‘ears’ are the same size, and pinch about ⅓ of the way up. You should (hopefully) start to see your bunny head take shape.
Step 4: With a piece of string or ribbon tie the two sides of the napkin together, making sure the ‘head’ is big enough for your biscuit.
Step 5: Finally, pop an egg or Easter treat (we used our Easter Chick Biscuit) in the middle of the fold!
