Preparation Guidelines
Remove outer box and clear cellphane.
To Steam or Boil: Place the basin in foil and place the covered basin in a steamer or saucepan of water filled to two thirds of the depth of the basin and boil gently for 2 hours. Do not boil dry. Carefully remove from the steamer or saucepan. Allow to stand for 3 minutes then remove the foil, mop cap, and silicon disc from the top of the pudding. Invert basin on to a serving plate and leave for 30 seconds. Then using a utensil gently lift off the basin. Check the pudding is hot before serving.
To Microwave: Remove mop cap, and silicon disc. Invert basin onto a microwavable plate. Cook on full power for 6 minutes (time based on a 800 watt output. If different please refer to the manufacturer’s handbook). Leave to stand for 3 minutes. Then using a utensil gently lift off the basin. Check the pudding is hot before serving. How long do they last? Our Mini fruit cakes have a minimum shelf life of one month. If you're not sure, please check the best before date it's stamped on the underside of each cake tin. Store in a cool dry place.
